FASHION WEEK IN THE TENTS:

At the entrance to the Tents - my PR guy Matt acted as my paparazzi.  I think I was channeling a mix of Lady GaGa, Beyonce and Anna Wintour.

Talking shoes with the Fashion Editors at Footwear News.  Or course, I had to point out my Pluto Peep-toe pumps in all black and how they were a perfect choice for the Dennis Basso's runway show as they are clean and classic with a fiercely high and edgy heel.  I mean, even the "ladies who lunch" need a little edge.

The pic is not so good, but I was sitting in the front row on the runway and it was a little hard to take a pic with the Vogue editors directly across from you, Ivana Trump on your right and Mary Louise Parker on your left.

My favorite look in the show were Dennis's gorgeous midnight blue dresses paired with my Plutos in cashmere taupe with platino heels and baby ice blue outsoles.  It was just so fresh!

Backstage after the show, one more paparazzi shot in front of the wall of Looks from the show.  Matt and I celebrated with a couple of glasses of champagne.  Ah, the life of a fashion designer....xoxo

So I finally saw the girl on Facebook in THE SAME SHOE and I asked her who made them and she told me it was you. Ever since then I have been checking out your blog, I enjoy reading them it kinda feels like I am getting a peek into such a creative mind, and I enjoy that. You are very lucky to have one of my original styles - the wedge that is one of the only shoes in the world made out of Titanium. It is very special and hold onto them. The digital logo is also something really cool and the battery life of the dancing girl was for 2 years and then it just says "Davis". Glad you like the shoes and let us know if you need any help at sales@ruthiedavis.com
